Thank you for your interest in Waukesha North Youth Football!
Below you will find information about our program as well as a link to register for the 2020 season.
Who is eligible to play:
Any player that will be a 5th-8th grader in the fall of 2021 and is in the Waukesha North district. The league we play in (AAYFL) does have districting rules. If you are planning on using school choice to attend North please let us know before registering. We have also had a few 4th graders play up in the past. Please contact us if you are interested in playing up prior to registering.
What are player fees:
All player fees are $300. We require that $25 is put down to reserve your spot at our signing night (typically held in March). The balance of your player fees can be fundraised. Any balance remaining is due by equipment handout, held at Waukesha North in late July. Payment is preferred by check.
What equipment is required:
WNYF provides a helmet, shoulder pads, game/practice jerseys and pants. All equipment is the property of WNYF and is provided on loan to your player. All items must be returned promptly at the end of the season so we can have it cleaned and/or recertified.
You are required to have your own cleats, mouthguard, and 5 pad girdle. There are many options for the girdle and mouthguard, choose the one that works best for your player. Click here for examples of the girdle
WNYF is a 100% volunteer-driven organization. Volunteering is required of participant families. Without family involvement, we are unable to operate. We will send out a master signup at the beginning of the season with multiple opportunities for concessions, chain gang, clock/announcer, setup and cleanup, etc. Each participant will be required to fill two shifts during the season. You do not have to work a shift during your players' game. Beginning with the 2020 season there will be a volunteer deposit required. If your volunteer hours are completed the deposit will be returned.
Practice / Game information:
Practice times are set by each individual head coach. Typically they are held M-F in the month of August. Once school starts practice times are limited. The schedule will be adjusted by the coach at that point. Games are played on Saturdays, times vary week to week.
All of our coaches are required to be USA Heads Up Football certified. Your player's safety is a top priority for us. All coaches also have a background check thru an organization that the AAYFL approves. All certifications are paid for by WNYF.
If you are interested in coaching please contact us!
We are always looking for more coaches to be involved with our program.
